Yankees manager Aaron Boone was ejected in the second inning of a tie game on Thursday after Brett Gardner was called out on strikes. He didn’t agree with the call and let the home plate umpire know about it.
Boone then got his money’s worth and unloaded on the home plate umpire with an epic rant. He could be heard repeatedly telling the umpire that his guys are “f*cking savages in the box.”
