NFL insider Adam Schefter reported on Sunday morning that Aaron Rodgers plans to play against the Vikings on Sunday.  He has no ligament damage to his left knee and the injury could take months to heal.

Via ESPN:

“He has a pretty unusual injury that would keep most people out awhile,” one source told ESPN.

Rodgers was told this week that his injury could take up to a couple of months to heal, according to another source. The star quarterback does not have any ligament damage, according to the source, who said the injury is more of a “compression injury from blunt force while bent.”

Good luck getting away from the Vikings defense on one leg.  Packers fans are hopeully Rodgers has a little more of that magic left.  This is the same team that ended his season last year.
