NBA commissioner Adam Silver might not be as player friendly as he is believed to be.  During his annual news conference in Las Vegas he called players making trade demands “disheartening” and says the matter need to be addressed.

Players making trade demands is disheartening to the team owners or governors or whatever they’re calling them in the NBA these days.  It’s not disheartening to the players.

I can guarantee the players will find Silver’s comments disheartening.  Forcing trades has giving them much more control over their careers.
