The Minnesota Vikings and receiver Adam Thielen have agreed to a 4-year, $64 million extension. The new deal locks up the 28-year-old until 2024.

Thielen had a career season last year and recorded 113 catches for 1,373 yards and 9 touchdowns. This new deal guarantees he’ll remain in Minnesota as one of Kirk Cousins’ top targets.
Minnesota must not have wanted to lose Thielen to the Patriots once his original deal expired. Smart move, could you imagine what Bill Belichick could have done with him in New England?
It would have been a thing a beauty. It wasn’t meant to be and the Vikings just gave him 64 million reasons to stay in Minnesota.
