After becoming a 1,000 yard back again and landing a two-year deal with the Redskins, Adrian Peterson finds himself in a backup role to 2018 second-round pick Derrius Guice.  Guice missed all of his rookie season with a torn ACL and his injury was part of the reason the Redskins signed Peterson.

According to reports, the 34-year-old running back will be inactive for Washington’s Week 1 match-up against the Eagles.
