Adrian Peterson has at least one more season in the NFL after he signed a two-year deal with the Redskins back in March.  But the 34-year-old running back has plans to play much longer.

Peterson is 180 yards from back-to-back 1,000 yard seasons with the Redskins, a mark that would have been easier to reach if he wasn’t benched for the season opener by head coach Jay Gruden.

Peterson told reporters this week that he wants to play until he’s 40.  He also revealed that he doesn’t have any doubts about doing it.
