Alex Smith suffered a devastating broken leg one year ago yesterday. The Redskins quarterback had 17 surgeries and battled a post operation infection.
Smith’s wife Liz shared a video of his recovery on Instagram to mark the anniversary.
While he isn’t going to play at all in 2019, he is able to lift weight and run on his surgically repaired leg.
