The latest Chiefs player to have a run-in with the police is defensive back Bashaud Breeland, who was arrested at a gas station in South Carolina.

Breeland faces multiple charges as a result, including driving with an open container of alcohol in his vehicle and possession of marijuana.

On Friday, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid weighed in on Breeland’s arrest earlier this week.  Reid says he’s seen the troubling video of Breeland’s arrest and has spoken to him.

As far as any punishment from the team, Reid says they will let the situation “play out with law enforcement” first.
