Joe Maddon to the Angels appears to be a done deal. According to reports the team could announce his hiring as their next manager as early as this week.
It looks like Maddon, who was fired by the Cubs after a disappointing season, is headed back to the American League. This time he’ll be in a large market with a team that spends money.
They also have that Mike Trout guy I hear is pretty good.
