Lakers center Anthony Davis took to Instagram on Friday night to reveal what number he will wear next season. It was reported earlier in the day that Nike refused to allow him to wear LeBron James’ 23 next season.
According to Davis, he’s taking it back to elementary school with his new number. The big man is going to wear number 3 while he waits for 23 to become available.
The only number that’s going to matter for the Lakers is the number in the win column.
