The NFL has reportedly told ESPN that Antonio Brown is not expected to play again this season.  If he were to be signed by one of the three teams reportedly interested in him, Brown would be placed on the Commissioner’s Exempt List.

Brown would remain on the list while the league investigated the sexual assault claims against him, which could take the rest of the season and would mean a team would still have to pay him while he wasn’t playing.
