Sophmore lineback Demetrius Walker of the Arkansas Razorbacks was arrested on late Wednesday night on possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms charges.
According to the Fayetteville police, who executed a search warrant on Walker’s home, 95.8 grams of marijuana, 40 Xanax pills and a loaded AR-15 rifle were found inside.
Demetrius “Dee” Walker faces charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (both marijuana and Xanax) and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, according to Fayetteville police. An online jail roster also lists the charges of delivery of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Authorities searched his residence and found 95.8 grams of marijuana, 40 Xanax pills, “multiple” individual and sandwich baggies, a digital scale and a DPMS Panther Arms model AR-15 rifle with one loaded magazine, according to a preliminary report.
It sounds like Walker was a busy man during his down time. The team suspended him indefinitely for the arrest.
Maybe a little less of this and a little more working on football and the Razorbacks might have finished the season with better record.
