Oakland A’s outfielder Ramon Laureano went over the fence in left-center to take a home run off of the board.  He then showed off his incredible arm by trying to double the runner off of first base.

Laureano airmailed the throw, but got the double play anyway when the runner tried to take second on the throw.  The A’s catcher backed the play up perfectly and gunned him out at second.

Fans definitely got their money’s worth on Sunday in Oakland.  You don’t see double plays like this every day.  This is an early entry for play of the year.
