According to Australian newspaper The Herald Sun and its cartoonist, Mark Knight, a cartoon of Serena Williams is a shameful part of US history, but in fact isn’t racist.

The editorial argued that the cartoon was merely another piece from Knight that targeted the powerful.
While the newspaper and the cartoonist stood by their comments in the paper, he deleted the cartoon of the tweet. Looks like Social Media pressure got to him.
