Jets reporter Manish Mehta took what seem to be unprovoked shots at former Jets linebacker and current CBS analyst Bart Scott on Twitter. He called Scott “comically and consistently wrong.”

Scott caught wind of the tweets and issued a response that I’m sure his employer will be very pleased with.

The Jets were flying high after week 1 but have fallen back to earth with back-to-back losses. The cherry on top being the first team to lose to the Browns in almost two years.
Now reporters and former players are trading shots on social media. The Jets and their fans are an extremely fragile bunch. It would be sad if it wasn’t so entertaining to watch.
