Roquan’s presence at Halas Hall — he even made a brief appearance in the locker room during a media session Tuesday before Bears media relations staffers sent him back — indicated the situation is manageable. Teammates reactions indicated that as well.
Asked if he was concerned about Smith, linebacker Danny Trevathan said with a chuckle, “Probably not as concerned as you guys, because y’all keep asking questions. I’m just here to work and have my guy back.”
The secrecy around what is going on with Smith is very strange. It’s either very personal or something they don’t want out.
It will eventually be revealed, but until then it will be the biggest story in Chicago.
