Losing in front of a national audience can be tough. 

Bill Belichick isn’t used to it, so it wasn’t surprising to see him keep things short during the coach’s handshake following the Pats’ 28-22 loss at the hands of the Texans.

But this one seemed particularly different, especially since it came against his disciple Bill O’Brien.

NBC’s camera showed O’Brien searching for his former boss, before finally finding him and exchanging the shortest shake imaginable.

Belichick barely even looked at him before making his way off the field.
