Personal Injury Attorney Jacob Emrani, a Los Angeles Lakers superfan, widely known for his CallJacob.com jingle, is putting up the dollars as a first step in recruiting LeBron James to play for the Lakers next year by putting up well-timed billboards across Los Angeles
On Monday, February 26, a Philadelphia-based company launched the opening billboard salvo to recruit “the King” when it had three boards installed in downtown Cleveland, just minutes from Quicken Loans Arena, indicating Philly’s desire to have James bring his talents to The City of Brotherly Love to join the 76ers, which boasts a highly-talented corps of young stars.
In response, Attorney Jacob Emrani is leading the charge to convince James his talents would be better served in the City of Angels, where his career would shine among other Laker greats, such as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant; among a host of others.
The Lakers are set to host the Cavaliers on Sunday, March 11, with the media attention surrounding this game intensifying by the minute. Only time will tell where LeBron James will end up next season, but #LABron has already arrived.
