Week 3 of the preseason is one of the more competitive weeks before the regular season begins. Many teams have their starters playing the bulk of the first half.
With that there’s a little more at stake for games that technically don’t count. Late hits and dirty plays are going to spark some sort of response. The late hit on Bills running back Frank Gore by a Lions defender was no different.
The player standing up for the 36-year-old Might be a little different. Bills quarterback Josh Allen didn’t like the late hit and got in the face of a Lions defender and called him out.
