During an interview on SiriusXM NFL Radio on Wednesday, Brett Favre said he spoke to Tom Brady at the Super Bowl earlier this year and told him to “go for it” if he was thinking about playing elsewhere.
Brady, according to Favre, then asked if he had to do it over again would he. Favre famously announced his retirement then changed his mind a number of times before leaving Green Bay and playing for the Jets and the Vikings.
Favre responded to Brady’s question by saying he would do it the same way if he had a chance.
