Former ESPN reporter Britt McHenry is teaming up with fellow former ESPN employee Bram Weinstein and WPGC news director Guy Lambert for a weekly show that will air on FOX 5 DC.  It will serve as a weekly roundup of politics, entertainment and pop culture.

The show will be called “Like It or Not” and will debut Friday night at 10:30 p.m.  The weekly show will re-air Saturdays at 8:30 p.m. on WDCA.

Via The Washington Post:

“Buckle up!” Patrick Paolini, Fox 5’s vice president and general manager, said in the news release, which pledged that the new program will “provide edgy, controversial commentary.”

McHenry’s co-hosts are perhaps less prone to winding up in viral headlines or in well-publicized Twitter battles. Weinstein, who served as a “SportsCenter” host and sideline reporter at ESPN, left Bristol in 2015 and returned to Washington sports radio in 2016. He hosts “The Bram Weinstein Show” midday on the Team 980. Lambert anchors “The Joe Clair Morning Show” on WPGC, as well as a weekly community affairs program and a weekly podcast with comedian DL Hughley.

Consider me buckled up.  It sounds like a hot take factory ready made for a ton of viral success.  There will be no sticking to sports and plenty of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit shaming to go around.
