Newsflash, the Cleveland Browns were a total mess this season.  That’s obvious to just about anyone who watched them underachieve all season.

So it’s not really surprising for a member of the coaching staff to admit it.  What is surprising is that a member of the coaching staff admitted it to opposing coaches before games.

The Athletic’s Zac Jackson is reporting that Browns offensive coordinator Todd Monken did just that. 

Monken was so upset with how things were going in Cleveland this season that he would tell opposing coaches before games the Browns were a “total mess.”
