Free agent Bryce Harper isn’t sweating his free agency. He’s going on double dates with his childhood friend and Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant.
The buddies and their wives were spotted hanging out with Nelly at a Florida Georgia Line concert on Saturday night.
Although the Cubs aren’t believed to be in the Harper sweepstakes the person who took this picture wouldn’t mind seeing them team up in Chicago.
Who needs Theo…we got @Nelly! @bharper3407 & @kris_bryant17 hanging out again last night. I don’t think the #Cubs are in on Harper but every time they post like this I think ‘I wish they were teammates.’
Could you imagine how many times we would have to hear that these two grew up together if they were teammates?
There would be countless interviews and childhood pictures. For that reason alone I hope they never play together in the MLB.
