Bryce Harper isn’t making a ton of solid contact this season for the Phillies.  He’s even been booed at times by the home crowd.

On Sunday, the highly overpaid outfielder gave the fans in Philly something to cheer about.  He hit a 466 foot bomb over the batter’s eye at Citizen’s Bank Park.

The home run was the longest ever hit by a Phillies player at home since the start of the StatCast Era.  More importantly than how many the feet the ball ended up going, is the fact that it put the Phillies on the board and gave them an early lead.
