Bryce Harper is already looking forward to football season. On Sunday, after the Nats beat up on the Mets, he revealed that he’s a Baker Mayfield fanboy.
With the Nationals out of the postseason race, Bryce will have plenty of time to enjoy the football season at home from the comfort of his couch.
I wonder if we’ll see Mayfield return the favor in a Harper jersey at some point this year. It is certainly possible, although he could wait to see where Harper ends up in free agency before doing so.
