BYU fans (and gamblers) are a little confused by a BYU field goal attempt during the Hawaii Bowl that the referees said was no good.  The kick appears to have gone through the uprights and the kicker’s reaction to the call says it all.

BYU was attempting to add points to their 34-31 lead at the time.  The blown call had people assuming that Vegas had something to do with rigging the score.

Hawaii would go on to score a touchdown and win the game 38-34.  So the referees failed if they were trying to control the point spread.
