Washington Capitals star Alex Ovechkin took the butt end of Blue Jackets Matt Calvert’s stick. Ovechkin was left with a bloody mouth and Calvert was ejected for his efforts.
Following the ejection, Ovechkin and Blue Jackets head coach John Tortorella were spotted shouting at each other. The argument was brief, but the beating of the was not as the Blue Jackets blew the Caps out 5-1.
