The Lakers aren’t going to have much wiggle room as far as the salary cap is concerned following the Anthony Davis trade.  They’re hoping to have enough to add one more star, but the rest of the roster will have to be made up of inexpensive role players.

One of the names that has been brought up is Carmelo Anthony.  The former star seems to be aware of the opportunity and is back in the gym working on, what else, his mid-range jump shot.

Melo can still knocked down those wide open shots.  Getting open and playing defense might be a different story.
