The Eagles drafted Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts with the 53rd pick of the 2020 draft. It’s certainly an interesting move for Philadelphia considering they already have a franchise quarterback in Carson Wentz.
Is Hurts there strictly to backup Wentz should he get hurt, which has unfortunately happened multiple times in his short career. Or did the Eagles draft Hurts to compete for the starting job and eventually take it from Wentz?
