Los Angeles Chargers owner Dean Spanos has denied reports that the team is “willing to consider” a move to London.

The original report comes from The Athletic’s Vincent Bonsignore, who wrote that London is pushing for a permanent team, and that the Chargers are in the mix.

Spanos told team reporter Jason B. Hirschhorn that the report is BS.

Per the report, NFL owners are “concerned” about the Chargers finding their footing in Los Angeles’ “crowded sports market.”

Bonsignore also reports that the city’s lack of “embracement” for the Chargers will only intensify once the team starts sharing a $4.5 billion stadium with the more “established” Rams.
