It’s increasingly looking like Melvin Gordon’s holdout is going to extend into the regular season. As the NFL heads into Week 2 of the preseason, absolutely no progress has been made in the running back’s extension talks.
Both sides are dug in and ESPN’s Adam Schefter’s latest report says that Gordon wants to return in time for the start of the regular season, but is prepared to miss games if he doesn’t have a new deal.
