Running back Troymaine Pope gave the shorthanded Chargers a boost on Sunday right before halftime. The speedster returned a punt 81-yards for an impressive touchdown.
The undrafted Pope, who has bounced around the league since 2016, might have just made the team with that return. Los Angeles is currently thin at running back with Melvin Gordon’s absence.
