As is often the case, the NBA on TNT crew got a little off topic on Thursday night when Charles Barkley brought up actor Jussie Smollett.  Smollett was arrested for filing a false police report after it turned out he hired two men to help him stage an anti-gay and racist attack on him.

Barkley poked fun at Smollett for staging the attack and paying for the crime with by writing checks.  He warned America to not commit crimes with checks before dropping a Liam Neeson joke.

We need a “words of wisdom” segment by Chuck.  He has a lot of wisdom to share and it would take the award winning show to another level.
