Braves infielder Charlie Culberson suffered facial fractures after being hit in the face with a pitch on Saturday. Manager Brian Snitker gave reporters an update on Sunday but did not specify which bones were fractured.
Obviously that will keep him out of the lineup for some time, although no timetable for his return was provided either. Culberson is headed back to Atlanta ahead of his team for treatment.
