LeBron passed MJ on Wednesday to become the 4th leading scorer in the history of the NBA.
The fact caught plenty of people off guard, but none more so than James himself.
The Chicago Tribune had their own take on the King breaking the GOAT’s record.
Check out the tweet below:
LeBron James — who has been swept out of the NBA Finals twice — passes Michael Jordan for 4th on the career scoring list https://t.co/MdwYTngrWI pic.twitter.com/WORLZP5snX

The Trib also threw in this:
LeBron also currently winless against the Monstars. Just saying.

Of course Michael Jordan’s home newspaper is going to take a shot at LeBron.
Records aside, LeBron is definitely a legend.
LeBron now sits behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387), Karl Malone (36,928) and Kobe Bryant (33,643). He could easily pass Kobe next season, and possibly pass Kareem somewhere down the road.
Looking forward to see who trolls him then.
