Chiefs cornerback Bashaud Breeland was arrested on multiple charges Tuesday, including possession of marijuana, in South Carolina. The 28-year-old, who had an interception in the Super Bowl, also faces charges of resisting arrest and having an open container in a vehicle.
The Chiefs are aware of the arrest but didn’t immediately release a comment. Breeland recently signed a 1 year, $3 million contract that includes a $1.5 million signing bonus.
