The Chiefs don’t expect a long drawn out process to sign quarterback Patrick Mahomes to a long-term contract. He wants to be a Chief for life and owner Clark Hunt wants him to spend his entire career in Kansas City.
According to Hunt, he expects the negotiations to begin this summer. It sounds like everyone is on the same page here, the same can’t be said for another high profile quarterback who is working on an extension with his team.
