Darrel Williams is used to competing.

At LSU he fought for reps with future NFL players Leonard Fournette and Derrius Guice.

And his last year coincided with Edwards-Helaire’s freshman season.

In the pros Darrel Williams has been effective, helping clinch victories against the Baltimore Ravens and Detroit Lions last year before a hamstring injury sidelined him the rest of season.

However, Darrel Williams has just one year left on his three-year, $1.725 million deal.

Damien Williams, last year’s postseason hero, is the presumptive starter, but his contract also expires at the end of the 2020 season.

But if he doesn’t end up with the Chiefs, he’ll always have new bling.
