Orioles first baseman Chris Davis still isn’t a great hitter, but at least he’s flashing some leather.  On Tuesday night against the Red Sox, he made a diving play on a Chris Vazquez groundball.

After gloving the ball, Davis quickly realized he wasn’t going to be able to get to his feet to get the out at first, so he flipped the ball backwards to second baseman to Hanser Alberto.

If you can’t hit your weight, you might as well make awesome plays in the field like this one.  The Orioles are paying him $150 million after all.
