Orioles first baseman Chris Davis and manager Brandon Hyde had to be separated in the dugout during Wednesday night’s blowout loss to the Yankees.

In the bottom of the 5th inning, in what was a 6-1 game at the time, Hyde was seen saying something to Davis in the dugout.

Davis immediately responded to what was said by charging at Hyde.  Lucky for the Orioles manager, the hitting coach and one of Davis’ teammates was there to stop him.

After the altercation Davis was removed from the lineup.
