Chris Davis ended his hitless streak on Saturday with an RBI single against the Red Sox.  The Orioles first baseman hit a line drive into right with the bases loaded to plate two runs.

Following the hit Davis and his teammates asked for the ball.  He added two more hits to hit 2019 total and two more RBIs in the 9-5 Orioles win.

The big day raised Davis’ batting average to .079 on the season.  He’s well on his way to finishing the season under .200 again.  Proving once again $100+ million contracts are always a good investment.
