Blazers guard CJ McCollum was called for an offensive foul after he caught Sacramento’s Trevor Ariza in the groin with an elbow. McCollum was trying to draw the foul on the play before he gave Ariza a shot below the belt.
Inadvertent or not, you can’t throw elbows at your opponent’s groin. Luckily Ariza recovered from getting hit in the groin rather quickly and was able to continue without needing to ice down first.
