Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw will be shutdown for a couple of more days after playing catch on Monday.  Manager Dave Roberts revealed that the left-hander “didn’t feel great” after the session.

Roberts revealed on Friday that Kershaw was dealing with some sort of arm issue, possibly “dead arm.”  The fact that a couple of days of rest hasn’t resolved the issue has to be a little concerning for the Dodgers.

Despite the rest not helping Kershaw’s dead arm, Los Angeles has yet to schedule an MRI to see if there are any underlying issues that might be causing the discomfort.

That’s an interesting strategy.  If there is something going on with Kershaw that needs attention, it’s still early enough to get it taken care of before the start of the season.
