Los Angeles Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw unexpectedly threw 12-15 pitches off the mound on Thursday.  The left-hander had been battling some arm issues that has required him to shutdown throwing multiple times already this spring.

According to manager Dave Roberts, who wasn’t expecting the news, Kershaw didn’t experience any issues after the very short bullpen session.

That’s really good news for the Dodgers, who are hopeful Kershaw can bounce back this season.  Los Angeles is going to need him to return to his old form after some velocity and injury problems last season.
