Kelly Bryant is scheduled to make his first transfer visit over the weekend.  The former Clemson starting quarterback is visiting UNC on Saturday.

Via Inside Carolina:

According to sources, the UNC staff has been in contact with Bryant since he decided to leave Clemson a couple weeks ago and subsequently received his release.

Bryant has one year of eligibility remaining — for the 2019 college football season.

That would be an interesting landing spot for Bryant.  Sure he would get the opportunity to start immediately, but the Tarheels won’t likely be competing for a shot at a National Championship next season.

If we had to guess, this won’t be the only school he’s visiting.  Although crazier things have happened.
