It’s not everyday that a coach calls out a player on another team prior to the start of the season. It’s also not everyday that the coach is the father of the player he called out.
That’s exactly what happened on Monday afternoon after Kentucky announced their home opener would be played against Detroit Mercy. Wildcats head coach John Calipari called out his son Brad on Twitter.
Coach Cal had a warning for his son, who played three years with his father before transferring. He clearly plans to shut his son down.
