Hornets guard Kemba Walker is set to become a free agent this summer. At least one of his teammates, Cody Zeller, wants to keep him in Charlotte.
The Hornets big man opened up a “Keep Kemba in Charlotte” lemonade stand with the goal of reaching Walker’s max contract amount.

I get why Zeller wants to keep Kemba, he’s by far the Hornets best player and he’s a fan favorite. But I don’t get why, other than the money, Kemba would want to stay.
The Hornets can’t attract big name free agents and they can’t consistently put together a playoff contending team. He should go to a team that has a better shot at competing.
