Kansas introduced Les Miles to the students and fans at their basketball game on Saturday against Stanford. They also had a gift waiting for their new head football coach.
The Jayhawks mascot brought him some of the turf from the football field to sample. Miles famously would eat pieces of grass while he was the head coach at LSU.

Miles will never be without a snack during his time in Kansas. Although I wouldn’t sample just any grass.
If you’re going to properly introduce someone, you might as well reveal the insane things they do. It’s going to be fun in Kansas next season.
