The Miami Dolphins are in need of a franchise quarterback, they have the No. 5 pick in this year’s draft and they could actually pass on a quarterback.  According to NFL insider Albert Breer, the idea of waiting another year to draft a quarterback, or tanking for Trevor Lawrence, has come up.

Waiting another year seems like a crazy idea, especially with the number of picks the Dolphins have this year.  If they pass on Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa, which has been reported as their intentions, things could get interesting.

Breer laid out a few scenarios that could play out for Miami.  They could draft a tackle with the No. 5 pick and try to draft Jordan Love later on in the round.  They could also go with the guy Dan Marino is a fan of, Justin Herbert.
