I feel like there’s a middle ground in there somewhere. 

We don’t need to label what Garrett did an assault and yes he should be suspended, but we also need to remember that this is a violent sport and sometimes unfortunate and violent things are going to happen on the field. 

Trying to remove violence from the game is going to change it to the point that it’s no longer the same game.
